Chewy - male Terrier (Yorkshire)

Chewy is a 3 year old Yorkshire Terrier who has bundles of love to share with that someone special. He is ready for new adventures and will happily jump into the car to go and explore. He is fully housetrained and really loves the company of others. A perfect little lap dog who is ready to snuggle up on the sofa in the evenings. Chewy just loves human company so much that he doesn't enjoy being on his own and can only be left for short periods of time once his leaving time has been built up and he is settled in his new environment.
He is very friendly and due to his sweet nature he wont need many meets at the center before he is ready to go home with you.

Chewy is a sweet little lad who is searching for a new loving family. He's a sociable fellow who can live with children aged 15 and over who can engage in fun, sensible activities and know when to give him space when he needs it. Chewy has not lived with another dog before so we feel he may be best suited to being the only dog in the home, however, he does enjoy saying hello when out and about and has shown no signs of aggression to other dogs so he might be able to live with a calmer, understanding dog in his new home pending successful meets at the rehoming center. Some walking buddies could be fun for him to spend the day with and interact on a doggie level. Chewy is keen to learn and loves treats so he would love for his new adopters to help him add some more tricks to his list, he knows 'sit' at the moment.
