My name is Sandy and I'm very pleased to meet you! As you can see by my pictures, I have a set of really fantastic ears and they're on the listen out for news of a forever family wanting to sweep me off my paws!! I'm a 3 year old Whippet cross and I cannot wait to get my paws into a forever home. Whilst not much is known about my history, it's all in the past and I am fully focused on getting my paws into my future! All the team here have already fallen madly in love with me and they say I truly am such a sweetheart and so very deserving of a change of luck.

When I arrived, I was shy and timid but...you should see me now!! I can still be a little worried in some situations and can be a little shy at first when I meet you but I promise I really will love you with a little time. And once we are friends...boy are we best friends! I always greet my friends eagerly with a waggy tail and a cuddle. And once we do have that trusting relationship, I take reassurance from you and it helps my confidence grow and grow.

As I'm settling into life here, I'm experiencing lots of fun things. I've really enjoyed going out on lots of walkies here and have enjoyed walks with some of the other doggies too...in fact, I've already gained myself a few girlfriends! I think it could be quite fun living with another well-matched dog and perhaps they could be a great role model for me as well as a super cool playmate. I've also started to show a keen interest in toys as I'm learning just how fun they can be. And of course, I really do find zoomies quite fun and showing off just how super speedy I can be!!

Due to my worried disposition, I'll be best suited to homes where any children are of teenage years. Like I said, I might like living with another pooch but unfortunately I won't be able to share my home with any cats or small furry friends! If you think I could be the guy for you, then please don't keep me waiting!
