Shadow - Female Weimaraner

10-05-24 Shadow is a beautiful Weimie who has come from a home through no fault of her own due to a huge change in her family circumstances. She is very underweight at the moment and we will look at her diet and see if we can improve this though we are told this has been a long term problem for her. At the moment she is being fed raw food and this seems to be really agreeing with her. We are told she is used to being around larger dogs, but she wouldn't like to share her space with another dog so she will be looking for a home where she can be the only dog. She will also need an adult only home, without any visiting children and would benefit from adopters who are experienced with this breed or similar breeds. She does seem to prefer the company of female humans but is also fine with males. She may have a little separation anxiety so whoever adopts her needs to embrace this and support her and help her feel secure. Shadow can already walk on a lead and we are told she was house trained in her home but may have accidents as she is a new environment. Shadow is such a loving girl but she is feeling very confused at the moment so we hope her stay with us will be very brief so she is back in a loving home as soon as possible.
