Hettie - female Terrier (Parson Russell)

We're very proud of Hettie's progress while being with us. She's learned a lot already but her adopters will need to work with us to set her on the right tracks in her home. She is super friendly with people and enjoys plenty of playtime. When she's walked in quiet areas she is a dream and watching her Terrier instincts kick in is joyous! She's forever sniffing and searching! She'll need someone around all the time during her settling in period, as she needs gradual confidence building around being left. Our training team will be happy to help and assist in all areas of Hettie's training and we're certain that in the right home she will soon become a confident young dog. We guarantee she'll make you smile every day too! Hettie does have a mild skin condition which is under control with medication. Our Vet will discuss this in more detail.

ATTENTION TERRIER LOVERS!! If you're a fan of all things Terrier, then meet Hettie. She's 18-months-old and has had quite an unsettled early life, but she's doing amazing with her training and is now ready to find her forever home. She is bursting with all the usual Terrier breed traits like high energy, a need to sniff and search, and also very smart and trainable. She needs a calm, peaceful and predictable home so being the only pet in an adult household will be perfect. Older teens may be considered if they're already confident around dogs. She must have a secure garden, away from main roads as she's a little noise sensitive, to burn off her energy and this will also help refresh her housetraining. She is very picky about which dogs she'll interact with so is best walked in quieter areas while she slowly builds her confidence in this area.
