Lady V - female Terrier (Staffordshire Bull) Cross

Adoption fee: Please check with the rescue

  • Centre:Dogs Trust
  • Location:Leeds
  • Sex:Female
  • Breed:Staffordshire Bull Terrier
Although Lady V is very shy initially, within a few meets, and plenty of tasty treats, she soon makes friends and then you’ll see her daft, playful and very cuddly personality shine through. She loves her walks but must be walked in quiet areas as she’s worried by other dogs, however, due to her amazing training progress, if introduced slowly she can eventually have a walking buddy or two! She’s quite strong on lead, doing well with her loose lead training and happily wears her muzzle. Throughout Lady V’s time with us, she’s proven that she’s a resilient little dog with so much potential. She’s smashing all her training goals and with the support our team and a dedicated new owner who’ll love her the way we do, she will soon become the season’s Diamond! Lady V's ears are slightly cropped due to a previous injury which has since healed up perfectly.

Dearest Gentle Reader, if you are on the lookout for a bubbly, affectionate and very smart Staffy to elevate your social standing, let us formally introduce Lady V! She is 3yrs old and was sadly found as a stray. Her ordeal has left her with low confidence and quite a few anxieties, but her behaviour medication and training plan has been working wonders for her and she’s now ready to find her forever home. She needs a fixed and predictable routine, which means she’ll need patient adopters who’ll work with us to gradually transfer her training skills into an adult only home where she’ll be the only pet. She’s uncomfortable around children generally so there can’t be any visiting kids. Due to her noise sensitivity, her home needs to be in a more peaceful or rural location with a secure private garden with 6ft fencing as she will need somewhere to burn off her energy and play.
