Bruce - male Terrier (Staffordshire Bull)

Bruce is looking for an adult only home, as he can be nervous with overhandling and finds children quite worrying. He will need to be the only dog in the home but is working on his social skills here and can do a distance walk with dogs when out and about. Bruce is happy to be left in the house and is toilet trained! He loves travelling in the car and will happily go on lots of fun walkies! Bruce can be strong on lead so his loose lead training will need to be kept up. Bruce is nervous of the vets and handling, we are working on this with positive reinforcement so this should be kept up once in a home! Bruce is an amazing boy who would love a forever home where he can get all the cuddles he deserves!

Bruce is a beautiful boy who is looking for a new home, where he can go on lots of adventures! He is a fair-weather dog and would prefer to walk on a sunny day and have a cuddle when its raining! He absolutely loves going to the beach and playing in the rockpools! He also loves playing with hard toys and having a game of tug of war. His favourite toys are chew bones and dog wood chews, he doesn't have soft toys as he ends up eating the stuffing! If he isn't chewing on a hard toy, he does have a tendency to steal socks around the house but is getting better with his drops and swaps so this training will need to be kept up! He will benefit from lots of enrichment to keep him busy and away from nicking socks!! Bruce thinks he is a lapdog and has successfully learnt how to snuggle up and fit in your lap! He is happy to have a lazy day in the house when needs be! Bruce is a lovely boy with a lot of love to give, he will make an amazing companion to the family!
