Winston - male Shih Tzu

Once given the time to come out of his shell and he feels comfortable, he enjoys a little fuss from his humans. You will know when you are in Winston's club as he becomes very excited to see you and his whole body becomes wiggly. He will enjoy going out for leisurely strolls and also travels well in the car. Given time to settle into his home he will blossom in to a loving part of the family.

Winston is a sweet lad who takes a little time to build a bond. He will need an adult only home with no visiting children that will be happy to continue his training in the home. When is comes to formal handling Winston is worried so will need his new family to carry on building on this as he will need to have a groom to keep on top of his coat. Winston enjoys having playtime with other dogs so can share his home with another pooch. He should be ok to be left for a few hours once settled. Adopters of Winston will need to come and visit him at the centre a few times before heading home so that he can work on building a bond with his new family.
