Imagine a big bundle of love, clumsily bounding around, delighting in the simplest joys of life - that's Branston. He is an 18 month old Rottweiler with a heart as big as his boundless energy. His playful antics are that of a young pup, adding an irresistible charm to his lovable personality. His idea of a perfect day? Playing with his toys and snuggling with his favourite humans. This sweet goofball is ready to add a dollop of joy to a loving family who will nurture him with all his basic training and manners and help build his confidence with patience and a lot of love! Branston will make a loyal, loving, and endlessly entertaining addition to your family.

Meet Branston, a delightful bundle of joy who's just waiting to fill your home with his larger-than-life personality. He's a bit of a lovable goof who forgets his own size sometimes, so he would do best in a home with older children aged 16 years and over who are comfortable with his enthusiastic displays of affection. Although he’s a big bouncy boy, Branston does have a sensitive side and would benefit from adopters who will help build his confidence with lots of positive training and gentle handling. Branston will need to be the only pet in his new home. He is quite strong on his lead and he's also mastering the art of wearing a muzzle out and about as he struggles to behave appropriately when he meets other dogs. His new family will need to be understanding and patient, willing to help him continue this training and to advocate for his personal space during walks, ideally in areas where there are not too many other dogs around so he can relax and enjoy his walkies. Branston will need his own secure and private garden for pottering and playing and for practicing his housetraining. He can enjoy some alone time, up to around 2 hours, but he'll need a slow and gentle introduction to this once he's comfortable in his new surroundings. While Branston has learned a few tricks, he's eager to expand his repertoire and is quick to engage, especially if there are treats involved. Branston will need to meet his adopters a few times prior to going home so please bear this in mind when applying. If you rent your property, please have written permission from your landlord ready once you have submitted your application to avoid delays, as it will be required early on in the rehoming process if you are shortlisted. Please note that should you be shortlisted, our rehoming process usually takes between 7 - 10 days.
