Clover - female Terrier (Patterdale)

Clover was a very nervous girl when she first arrived but is slowly coming out of her shell whilst staying in a foster home. It’s a big help having another dog in the house who is showing her that the world can be fun and loving. Clover is now playing with toys and enjoys games with tug toys. She still has a way to go but with patient and understanding owners who can take things steady at Clover’s pace, it will be very rewarding seeing her true personality shine.

Sweet Clover is ready to settle into a quiet home life where she can gain confidence. She is much more of her playful self when in the company of other dogs. She will need to live with a confident dog already in the home who can help her blossom. She’d love to have a secure garden for zoomies and help with house training, which is so nearly there with. Clover can be left for a few hours with her doggy pal and this can then be built up slowly. It will take a couple of visits for Clover to make friends so her new family will be invited to the centre for a couple of meets where our training team will chat everything Clover. Then the team will like to bring her out for a few visits too to help her get used to her potential home. Clover enjoys sending time with people once she is comfortable around them and will be best to live with older secondary school aged kids.
