Pluto - male Lurcher Cross

Pluto is a young and sensitive 9-month-old Lurcher, who is a bit worried about life. We are not sure how much of the world he has experienced but when he settles and gains some more confidence, he will be excited to explore with his new owners. Once he knows you, he’s full of beans, enjoys playing ball and having a good fuss! Pluto enjoys the company of other dogs, and we find this helps with his general confidence. However, any dogs in the home would need to be tolerant of Pluto’s play style, as he’s still a baby. Pluto needs an understanding home to help him navigate his worries. We have no doubt that Pluto will become a big brave boy one day but for now, he needs someone to hold his paw as he learns.

We are looking to rehome Pluto to a home that can be with him the majority of the time as he can struggle being left on his own. His new home will need to be happy to continue his training. He could live with another dog and does gain confidence from being around other dogs. Pluto could also live with children aged 12 or over, who can cope with his size and bouncy nature and know when to give him space.
