Ginger - male Lurcher

Ginger is 1 year old and he came to us after a change in his owner’s work hours meant he was being left for longer than he could cope. He’s only young and will benefit from home life being reintroduced gradually, including housetraining, being left alone and car travel. He’s had short journeys so it’s not a complete novelty, but isn’t something he is used to. Ginger loves his yak chews and loves fuss.

Ginger is a beautiful boy who loves everyone he meets. When he’s around young children he can get very bouncy and over-the-top, and he also finds intense handling a bit worrying, so he won’t want to live with youngsters. He could happily live with kids of around secondary school age who are both happy with his fun, bouncy side, but also sensible enough to give him space when he needs it. Ginger must live with another dog, and will need one that is quite confident. Any match would be subject to a mix prior to rehoming. He is not suitable to live with cats as he does have a chase drive.
