Bailey - female Lurcher Cross

Once you are friends with Bailey her cheeky personality shines. She can takes treats nicely and doesn't mind helping herself if she finds something of high value. Cheeky monkey! She is playful and very loving and affectionate. Bailey will be a great addition to a patient family who will help her with her training. Anyone interested in Bailey will need to visit her a few times and speak to the training team. This sweet girl will be well worth the time and effort once someone gets to know her.

You won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Bailey is very sweet but is sensitive and lacking confidence in a few areas. Bailey wants to be so friendly but at first doesn't quite have the courage to say 'hi'. She can be very bouncy and jumps up for attention but will also shy away at times. She will need lots of positive interactions to help her feel more comfortable with handling, and for vet visits. For this reason if children are in the home they will need to be 14 years of age. Time alone is not something Bailey is used to and this will need building up very gradually. She will need someone around for her the majority of the day to help her with this. She just loves being around her people. She is housetrained. She will prefer walking in quieter areas so that she can enjoy her adventures, as she can react vocally to other dogs when she sees them.
