Buddy - male Retriever (Labrador) Cross

Buddy is a 7 year old Labradoodle who was retuned to us due to change in circumstances. He is ok in the car but doesn't like long journeys. Leaving hours will need to be built up over time as has shown signs of separation in his previous home. Once he trust you he does love a cuddle and becomes super playful. He loves tennis balls and will play the swap game. Being a Labradoodle he will need regular grooming to manage his coat.

Buddy is ready to search for his forever home. He is looking for an adult only home with no visiting children this is due to previous history of not getting on with children. He must be only only dog in the home as can be a bit unsure of some dogs. Care must be given around toys and food as he does resource guard. He can be reactive to unknown people and will need a quite home with not too many visitors. Buddy must be muzzled and on lead in public. He is seeking experienced owners who are happy to manage his resource guarding in his new home and able to come down the the Centre to meet him multiple times before he goes home. His new owners will be working closely with our training team to make sure all tools are in place for his new home. He is on ongoing joint supplements for his joints.
