Ebony - female Retriever (Labrador)

Ebony and Rusty are 1.5 years old and full of beans! Rusty's favourite pastime is chasing tennis balls whereas Ebony will play with any toy available. They have both been friendly with everyone that they have met, although Ebony can be a little more vary to start with. They are able to walk alongside other dogs but since being in kennels they have struggled to interact much and would rather just be in the company of each other. They can both be strong on lead so are seeking adopters who are confident with managing this. Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Ebony and Rusty are a pair of Labradors who would love to find a new home together. They are looking to be the only pets in the home but could live with secondary school aged children who are confident around big and sometimes bouncy dogs. They are looking for adopters who can teach them some of the basics, including walking nicely on a lead. Ebony and Rusty were left for a few hours in their previous home and should be fine to have some leaving hours introduced once they have made themselves at home. They need a private garden to run and play in and it should be fully enclosed by a 6ft fence. If you rent your property please have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.
