Vinnie - male Retriever (Labrador)

Vinnie is a really friendly and affectionate boy who wants to say hello to everyone he meets. Although Vinnie is on the older side, he still has bundles of energy and would zoom around all day if he could. For this reason, Vinnie would love a garden to play with his toys in. Vinnie loves all food and would enjoy enrichment such as slow feeders and Kong's. If you rent your property, please ensure you have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.

9 Year old Vinnie adores being with people and wants lots of attention, so would appreciate his adopters being around most of the day. His leaving hours could gradually be built up to 3-4 hours once he has settled in. Vinnie hasn't spent much of his life in a home, so will need patient adopters to help with his basic training, including housetraining. His love for food will help with this! As Vinnie is such a friendly boy, he could live with children 12+ who are comfortable around big, bouncy dogs. At the centre, Vinnie hasn't shown much interest in dogs and would prefer to be the only pet in the home, but could socialise with calm dogs.
