Breeze - Female Greyhound

Hello, I’m Breeze, a retired racing Greyhound who is looking for a new home.

I am a sweet, friendly girl who loves to spend time with people and other dogs. My favourite thing to do is go out on a nice slow walk and then come home and cosy up on the sofa for the rest of the day. Like most Greyhounds, I like to sleep the day away and then have zoomies in the garden before tiring myself out and having another nap! I’m very social and have been enjoying going out for walks and playing in paddocks with the other dogs at the centre, so I would be quite happy living with another dog of a similar size to me, as long as we met at the centre a few times first, but I cannot live with a cat because I would want to chase them.

I’m an ex-racer so the home environment will be completely new to me and my owner will need to be home all of the time to help me adjust to my new surroundings. I will also need help with my toilet training as this isn’t something I am used to, but I’m sure I’ll get the hang of it quite quickly if you use kind and positive methods to teach me.

I’m looking for a home with a nice garden for me to run around in. I can live with children of any age as long as they can understand my body language and know when to give me space.
