Theo - male Greyhound

Theo is a sweet and loving six year old Greyhound who has found himself having a second stay at our centre. He’s a gentle boy who is very sociable with other dogs and would probably benefit rom living with another Greyhound or similar breed. Theo struggles being left alone in the home but having another dog for company may change things completely. He likes to have a pal for zoomies sessions and enjoys chasing balls and toys when off lead. At home, Theo loves to cuddle up with his humans and likes to be as close as possible! Theo had previously suffered a painful injury and he didn’t appreciate the vet having to give it a good clean. Although he has been great for his vet exams since coming back to us, it would be wise to keep his muzzle on for any invasive procedures. He is used to wearing his muzzle for a walk anyway so it’s no big deal for him. In Theo’s ideal home there would be company for him all the time, but continued support for his separation anxiety is available from the centre at all times. He can also be very wary about travelling in the car.

Theo can live with another large friendly dog but care must be taken around small ones as he has a racing past. He can live with children of high school age and struggles if left alone at home.
