BUDDY AND BOBBY - Male German Shepherd Dog

These boys are 3.5 years old and castrated. Sadly they need to be rehomed due to  a relocation and the dogs cannot go with them.

They are a bonded pair. Bobby needing the company of Buddy. 

Buddy has sadly taken on the role of protector to his owner and the volunteer felt that getting to close to him would have caused an incident whilst Bobby is a normal if a little nervous GSD.

It is said that they get on with children but are seperated from the kids in the house.

It is also said that off elad and when out with the dog walker thewy interact with other dogs with no issues. With the owner they are kept on lead and away from other dogs. The volunteer was able to walk with Bobby and give him a fuss. With Buddy he walked a lead length beho=ind and was lunged at.

 

In short these boys were bought in lock down. They have lived with the same family who have moved multiple times.but since the addition of children into the home they have been seperated and partially excluded from family life.

They have a huge garden and spend lots of time outside. They are well fed with no expense spared . Sadly the owner has a stressful business and personal life and Buddy has taken on his pritective roile. The owner seems to reinforce this behaviour rather than correct it. Bobby sadly follows his brothers lead. They have sadly been treated as babies rather than dogs and the owner does blame himself for the way they dogs act. 

They must be very confused with everything they have gone through, changing homes, extended periods in kennels and dog walkers.

They are desperately in need of a reset with experienced adopters willing to put in the work.
