Geist - male German Shepherd Dog

Geist is a beautiful 7yr old German Shepherd who has spent the last couple of years with Dogs Trust Ireland and has come to us to continue his rehoming journey. He is loveable, wants to spend his time with people and just loves playing with toys. Geist would love his new family to be home most of the time as he has struggled being left before. Fortunately he is good in the car so could join his family out and about until he is happy being left. He is a super boy and all he wants is company and a best friend to play with.

Geist is a gorgeous boy, who is very friendly but is also big and very strong, and so will need a family that can manage him and help him with his training. He is looking for an adult-only home due to his size and sometimes boisterous play, but younger visitors would be fine. Geist needs to be the only dog in the home and would benefit from living in a low-dog-populated area. As he’s good in the car he could travel to quieter walking spots though. Geist has potential to live with cats, having done so in the past and been indifferent towards them. He is learning how to wear a muzzle so he can wear it on his walks.
