Malachi - male Foxhound

Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs.
Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Malachi is a handsome 10 year old Foxhound X. He came into us with very little information but he is very sweet and affectionate boy who loves the company of people and his food! He enjoys to go out for walks and all the interesting sniffs that can be found when exploring new places and can be found snoozing in a comfy bed afterwards. He will need to be the only dog in the home but could have dog friends outside. Malachi could live with sensible secondary school ages children.
Malachi would love a home with a garden so he has an area to play, relax and toilet in but this is not essential. Once settled, he could be built up to being left for short periods of time.

Malachi doesn’t know much in terms of training so he will need help to learn new things in a positive reward based way, this may include house training and being within a home environment. He does walk beautifully on lead! Given time, patience and understanding he is sure to shine through in the home!
