Vickey - Female Dachshund

28-06-24 Vickey is a scared girl who has come from her breeder to find a loving home. She has a little hormonal alopaecia at the moment but this should improve once she is spayed and her hormones have settled down. She is a little overweight but with a gentle introduction to exercise she will soon get the hang of it. Vickey is a timid girl who is touch sensitive at the moment but this is just because she is feeling overwhelmed and worried at the moment. She is inquisitive, kind to her kennel friends and just needs some TLC in a calm home to help help settle. She will need a kind resident dog in her new home to lend her some much needed confidence and help her to get used to all the sights and sounds of home. She will need to learn all about house training and how to walk on a lead and will learn this more easily with a dog to copy and learn from. She needs an adopter who is experienced with dachsys and their unique traits. She is a sweetheart who will begin to shine once she is relaxed and loving her new way of life.
