Please note that you won’t be applying for a specific dog, but you can tell us what type of dog you’re looking for. You can also add up to four favourites to your application to give us an idea of the dogs you like, so we can consider you for similar dogs. Once you’ve submitted your application, we can’t change or update your favourites. Adding a dog to your application is not a reservation but a guide for us to find you a match.

Dan is a wonderful 8-year-old Border Collie who came to us after being a failed farm dog. He is a friendly boy who could live with children who are older secondary school aged but he will need to be the only pet in the home. Dan struggles with seeing dogs out and about so would prefer to live in a low dog-populated area where he can go for peaceful walks on a lead. Dan is currently enjoying life in one of our foster homes where he has proven himself to be housetrained and can be left for a couple of hours whilst his foster carer pops out. He will need his own private garden where he can enjoy some off lead time and bond with his new family. If you rent your property please have written permission from your landlord before applying for a dog.
