Truffle - female Collie (Border)

Truffle is an amazingly clever girl who just loves learning new things! She has been working on several aspects of her training here at the Rehoming Centre, including her muzzle training and consent handling work. She would love to have an adopter who will carry on her training. She is a sensitive and independent girl who needs an adult only home with understanding people who will give Truffle plenty of time and space to let her settle into her new home. Adopters should be willing to travel to the Rehoming Centre to have a few meets with Truffle. Her adoption process will involve spending some some time to build up a relationship with her new people. Truffle walks well with other dogs, although will need to be the only pet in the home.

Truffle is a stunningly beautiful 2 year old Border Collie, who is now ready to start the search for her forever home! Truffle is a typical collie whose favourite game always involves a tennis ball! She is a highly intelligent girl, who has been taught lots of amazing cues by her previous owner and this has been added to by the training team here at the Rehoming Centre. Truffle would make a super companion for someone who is keen on dog training and/or agility/scentwork. Truffle travels great in the car so would be able to travel to locations further afield for walks. She is able to left alone for a few hours and is crate trained.
