Taffy - female Spaniel (Cocker)

Taffy is hand shy so would like someone willing to be patient with her and work on building a bond and trust, this could mean a few visits to the centre first. Once she starts to know you, she will come over for a short fuss, Truffle and Taffy do have the potentional to live with another dog aslong they are calm and confindent,

Taffy is a 3 & 1/2yr old Cocker Spaniel looking for her forever home with best pal Truffle. Any children in the home need to be calm secondary school age as she is a worried by handling. Taffy is an underconfident girl, who would like her own space and time to come out of her shell. They will want her own secure garden to help build their confidence before going out for walks, Taffy does enjoy a sniff or two! Being hand shy Taffy would like her new family to use positive reinforcement training in areas such as walking on a lead and house training, they can join a home with an exsiting dog aslong as they are calm and confindent. They would like a family who is around most of the time to begin with once fully settled could be introduced to leaving hours.
