  • Centre:Dogs Trust
  • Sex:Female
  • Breed:Chihuahua
Tina is a lovely girl but is nervous and worried by people she doesn't know and new environments. She will explore new places slowly and is getting better at building relationships with known staff members. She will need patient owners who can read her body language and will give her mindful introductions to any visitors/strangers. She does start to warm up quicker when out and about on her walks, but will need to take things at her pace. We feel once in a home, she will come out of her shell quicker and start showing signs of being comfortable such as playing with toys. She even knows some basics commands like sit and paw! Given the chance and love, she will make a sweet addition to a home.

Tina is a 5 year old Chihuahua. She is a lovely, little girl who can be quite worried so will need a quiet home with patient owners who will give her the time and space to get comfortable. She could live with another, quiet dog depending on introductions who won't get in her face. She would benefit from making some social doggy friends, but again, would prefer to mix with quiet, polite dogs. This girl hasn't been exposed to much of the world and would like to find understanding owners who can open up her world slowly and has experience of the breed. Any leaving hours would need to be built up gradually, but once settled, she could potentially be left for a couple of hours at a time. She may also need help being reminded of her toilet training.
