Flicka - Female Bichon Frise

18-08-2023 Flicka is a beautiful but also very nervous girl who has come to us from a breeder. She needs very gentle handling as she has not seen anything of the big wide world before and is very nervous around people. Flicka needs a very experienced, adult only home as if pushed and feels threatened she could make the wrong decision and children would overwhelm her. Flicka is really a kind and gentle girl and if you sit quietly with her she will sniff you hand. She loves other dogs very much and will need at least one kind resident dog who will be happy to be her friend and show her all about home life. Flicka will need to learn about house training, walking on a lead and need to get used to the sights and sounds of home. These are things which may take her a while to pick up as the garden may be a scary as the house at first so her adopters need to have plenty of patience and love to help her learn and be sure she is comfortable walking on a harness and lead in the garden before taking her for a walk in the outside world. In a quiet, calm home who have the time and patience to help Flacka learn she is loved she will begin to shine.
