Pablo - male Belgian Shepherd Dog (Malinois)

Although Malinois make excellent police or military dogs (did somebody say Paw & Order?), this one enjoys downtime and has a soft spot for affection, he leans in for cuddles. Pablo loves being with people and even more so if they enjoy a good game of tug! He also likes treats, car trips, playing fetch with tennis balls, and using his sharp nose in scent games, which keep his brain occupied. He would love an active lifestyle with plenty of physical and mental exercise. If you’re an experienced dog owner ready to provide a structured, loving home, Pablo could be the perfect match for you!

Pablo or Pabs/Pabby/kepabby/Prince Pabs as he’s known at Dogs Trust Shrewsbury is a two year old Belgian Malinois who’s super sweet but wary of strangers and needs to meet people a few times to help him feel comfortable with new faces. We would love to see him home, this needs to be in an adult only environment with people who love the breed as much as we do. Pablo barks at/around unfamiliar dogs but can walk calmly with quiet canine companions so he will need a home as the only pet in his new home. He also doesn’t like being left alone for extended periods and thrives in a home where he has plenty of company and interaction.
