Hugo - male Beagle

Hugo is a smashing five year old Beagle who is very active and loves to run around and play chase. He's a very typical Beagle and vocal with it, and he has been returned to us as he was being left by himself for six hours a day, and barking the whole time. Hugo is going to need a family where there s someone there most of the time to keep him company. Hugo loves cuddles on the couch when he isn't running about like a mad thing, but he's a lot of fun when he is! He's brilliant with people and loves to engage, but he has lived with a dog in the past that ended in a scrap, so he'll need to be the only dog at home. At the centre, he's been able to walk with a few females which he definitely has a preference for, and some girls to walk with at home would do him good. He does pull on his lead and his family would need to be willing to put in a little work on his loose lead walking. Someone who knows Beagles would be ideal for Hugo, but ultimately he just needs someone who can keep him mentally and physically active.

Hugo can live with children aged 12 and over, and will need to be the only pet at home. He is house trained and is noisy if left alone at home.
