Orbit - Female Beagle

01-05-2024 Orbit is a girl to break your heart. She is a sweet and very special girl who has come to us from a breeder and has a real sadness in her eyes. Orbit cowers when approached but if you go slowly and take your time she is easy to handle and with love, time and patience she will come round. Orbit has had a hard life and arrived here with some fdur missing around her reear end and an ear infection which is being treated. Our vet will also check a small lump by her ribcage and repair her umbilical hernia. Orbit will need a calm and quiet adult only home where there is at least one kind resident dog to be her friend and guide her about how to live in a home with humans who will love her. She has never even seen the inside of a home before and so this will be overwhelming at first and she will need to learn new skills like house training and how to walk on a lead. These are things that may take Orbit a little time to get the hang of as the garden may be as scary for her as the inside of the home at first and she needs adopters who understand and have the time, love and patience to help her discover the joys that her new life will bring. Lead walking will need to start in the garden to make sure she is comfortable wearing a harness and lead before venturing out in the world. Orbit really needs that extra special person who can see the potential she has to become a wonderful friend.
