Rogue - Female Akita

Rogue is a very pretty and dainty Akita cross who is looking for a new home through no fault of her own. At 4 years of age, she is active, curious and alert. While aloof at first, she does warm up when given space and time. Thereafter, she enjoys strokes and cuddles.

Rogue will need ongoing and structured lead training. Due to having a high prey drive she cannot live with cats or no small furries.

Rogue currently lives with Thor, ref 944 who is also looking for a new home so they could be rehomed together if an adopter has room in their heart for both of them. Having always lived with another dog Rogue could also potentially also live with another well adjusted male dog pending successful introductions.

While Rogue does understand the basic commands, she will benefit from ongoing reinforcement and training. She does not display display resources guarding but new owners should always monitor and supervise for themselves.

Rogue would suit an active household with plenty of exploration walks. A house with breed aware teenagers can be considered on a case by case basis.
