Akira - Male Akita

Akira is a playful lad, eager for affection and attention. At 18 months old, he would benefit from ongoing training and structure. He is alert, confident and engaging.

Akira understands sit and can be left for 2 to 3 hours on his own. He is non-destructive and enjoys going out although would benefit from further lead training. Given his food motivation, training should be relatively easy with commitment by new owners.

Akira has been an only dog so would fit well as the only dog in the home. However, experienced homes with a resident female might be considered pending successful introductions.

Due to his bouncy exuberance, we are unable to consider homes with small children.
